When you're bored over the weekend and there's not much to do, waiting for the Roger Water Gig, the imagination light goes on.

I had this two great Dowkey RF switches in my stock material, so I thought about using them to make my daily work in the RF lab, a little easier and more comfortable.
Now thanks to these RF switches I do not have the need to be frequently plugin and unplugging jumper cables between the RF generator, the device being tested, the antennas and the reference Radio. Just pushing a few colored buttons, the RF switches doing the work right for me. Then taking advantage of the EMPTY SPACES of my workbench, I put out the RF switches in the right place.

After the intro you will found the demo video.

    Very interesting!

A word of caution, though. Ordinary Dow-Key relays are not rated for continuous activation, and the coil may burn out if used in such a manner. Check the specifications for the specific model. bill

Hi William, The push buttons are momentary , so there is no risk of burnt up the switch coils, obviously unless one or more of them remains in contact, but I can improve the circuit adding some electrolytic in series with the coils, just in case. good idea !!!

And the leds remains on thanks to the auxiliary contacts ...

    thanks you !!!
