Donald N. Davis, W1DWA SK SK May 15, 2017 10-10 Number: 17886 Pittsfield - Donald N. Davis, 79, of Adam Street, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 15, 2017. Don was born March 14, 1938 in Pittsfield the son of Roland S. and Johannah Mauersberger Davis, he was a 1955 graduate of Pittsfield High School and a graduate of the former North Adams State College. He retired from GE Plastics in 1996 after 40 years; at the time of his retirement he was the manager of maintenance and safety. Following his retirement, he did property maintenance and continued training and sharing the skills he learned over his career. Don was an avid ham radio operator. He leaves his children Lisa A. Maher of Pittsfield, Barry T. Davis (Karla) of Lenox, Beth Smith (Randy) of Dalton, Mark Davis (Jill) of Pittsfield, Glenn Davis of Dalton, Lynne Davis of Pittsfield, ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and his former wives Beverly Davis and Marjorie Davis. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Mr. Donald N. Davis will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 6PM at WELLINGTON FUNERALHOME. There will be no calling hours.
