    IF you decide to buy the MFJ1984MP.... stop and buy the HP version. IF you look at the specs for the "MP" version, it says it's "good" to 300 watts but only at 50% rate. Digital modes less than that. Whenever you purchase any end fed antenna... buy the biggest cores you can get. If you overheat the Cores... your SWR will go High and possibly damage your radio. I sell all the versions. Anything MFJ, buy the highest rated version you can afford or buy another brand with multiple cores. Just my 2 cents. I had a client come in today and he ran the MP version at 100 watts on digital and it failed. Operating any Balun core on digital non stop modes will heat them up and they will fail over time. Buy the best you can afford.
