How abt AMATEUR RADIO
CAPS .... OHHHH MY.
Yep built into the service monitor and a bird.
Ahahaha Between the Isotron, 160m and HAM, poll 'bout innocent DLs gonna be locked after a two-page run
It is between my two ears, and It's full of diathermic oil called Gray matter.
Where is the option, Yes, I use it as fireworks on July 4th by sending 5kw through it.
I have no idea how many I actually have. They range from 5 - 25 watt units made by Narda. I've got one that looks like an old steam radiator made by Sierra Microwave. It says it is rated at 100 watts, but I'm guessing it would take a lot more for just a few minutes or to. And I've got two homebrew loads made in quart cans. One filled with Automatic Transmission Fluid and the other with mineral oil. The first one has four 100 watt/50 Ohm termination resistors in series parallel. The other has a single 100 watt 50 Ohm termination resistor. One resistor in a quart can barely gets warm after 5-10 minutes at 100 watts.
I have a Heathkit Cantanna and a
Palstar 2500 ? w dummy load.
I always tune into them first , then
tweek the amplifier on the air. My
elmer K8DD had 3.
OOPS, I WAS OFF THE DUMMY LOAD!
This is a Question that should be on the FCC test.
If You Pass You get a Dummy Load as a prize.
Some operators are a Dummy Load.
You can buy quarter watt dummy loads for a penny each, but you have to install your own connector.
