Somewhere in my archive of recordings I have two back-to-back passes of AO-27 recorded in which you hear two guys rag chewing on 145.85 about one of their divorces and their preferred firearms.

AMSAT needs to talk to the manufacturers of these devices. In the DMR world, large DMR user groups set up code plugs to work with the default frequencies of these things as a convenience for users. I moved some of mine, but it was a fairly big hassle getting everything programmed correctly, and the next time I download a new code plug, here we go again. I know that the Openspot uses 436.0 for some things.

Some have been made aware. Some have indicated a lack of interest in addressing.

No mention of a pickup truck? Or dog, even?

I found that recording ... played it backwards for a small group.

A couple attendees reported getting their houses back, their wives back, their dogs back, their trucks back ...

In southeast Al. pickup trucks are required to carry a dog in the truck's bed. This was mentioned on Garrison Keillor's radio show a few years ago.

I was wondering what that was as I can barely hear anyone on AO-92 now.

I did but erased them. I'll make one this weekend.
