When and where? I'm still trying to pull a rabbit out of my hat antenna wise but there are extenuating circumstances. All I got is sideband gear that will work on AM if you try. TR-3s and NCX-3. Tell me when Vintage SSB roundtable meets and I'll give it a listen. I've got a Drake R-8 on a random dipole that doesn't resonate anywhere. I can do better than that soon.

Lots of us brave the QRN on 40 es 80. I'm around 3546 til after mid-nights. Seems to be a boat anchor watering hole of sorts. QRS OK.
When the situation improves though, I plan to put the Valiant 2 and CE 100V on AM asap.
Listening for you. VY 73 de lane n8aft sk ..

Playing a Therimin carries more clout than working SSB.

Every Tuesday evening beginning with the informal check in session at 6:30 PM PST with the round table beginning at 7:00.
The frequency is 3895 LSB plus or minus depending om conditions and QRM etc. You will usually find the following
on frequency: Mark NU6X, Mike K6ZSR, Skip K6LGL and Paul K2LMQ. These are stellar FB ops who are courteous
and very knowledgeable. Mark NU6X has one of the finest collections of vintage SSB gear in the world. It's amazing
and always fun to hear the vast array of rigs represented on any given round table night.
    Check it out!

We'll be praying for you Brother!

Maybe I should fire up my old TS-803S that I haven't used in over 5 years.

I am proud to day I have NOTHING that generates ssb (at least on purpose).
People say there is, but I have never heard anything interesting on ssb.
I even had a kwm2a and never found a use for it...
