Hello from the Northern Arizona DX Association. Our club will be sponsoring the 3rd annual Distance Challenge at Quartzfest 2022. The idea behind the event is to see who can make the longest distance portable contact from the ARRL sanctioned Quartzfest in January, 23rd to the 29th, 2022. There will be 4 class of entry including: A = SSB or CW 100 watt max B= FT-8 C=QRP-SSB or CW D= W7Q- making the contacts from the special event trailer. Here you can use one of 3 different operating positions in the trailer with a SSB station, FT-8 station and a CW station. Sorry, NO remote operations allowed! All 4 GRAND CHAMPS will receive the unique trophy hard hats with a solar panel, fan, light, USB port and mini yagi, sponsored by our friends at CABLE-X-PERTS!!!, Lots of other prizes like Heil Microphones, Alpha Antenna gift certificates, The DX Store gift certificates, MP Antennas, Chameleon Antenna, MFJ items, N3FJP logging software, Balun Design gift certificate, Comet antenna gift, DX Engineering and more. The runner ups will also get some of these prizes.
