    It's a very funny looking very tiny little spider like creature.

    looks like it is a 'talking' freq counter. it sends Morse (?) when/how does it turn on to do so?

    There are Internet services like the Reverse Beacon Network that report the frequencies of stations on CW that call CQ.

    I've seen at least one that reports wrong freq... I think it's PJ2..... something or other.
