We are excited to announce that the DMRAA Hamfest will be returning to the Iowa State Fairgrounds on April 23rd 2022. This year's hamfest will take place at the Elwell Family Center located on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa. Doors will open at 8 AM, and we plan to close up at around 1 PM. Directions are available at http://www.iowastatefair.org/visit/directions/. Admission is $10.00 per person, children 12 and under are FREE. Tables: $20.00 for the first table, $10.00 for each subsequent table. Reservations may be made online by visiting http://www.dmraa.com/hamfest and filling out the form at the bottom. Associated Radio and D&L Antennas are two of the vendors that are sponsoring this year's hamfest. VE testing will also be hosted. Exams for Technician, General, and Extra class licenses will be offered. Fee for testing: $15 Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Testing lasts from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. After 9:30 a.m., no one will be accepted for testing. There will also be three door prizes given out to three lucky folks. The three door prizes up for grabs are as follows: A Yaesu FTM-300, a Yaesu FTM-3100, and a Yaesu FT65R.
