I'm very sad to report that Dennis M0JXM died on 12th August after a short period in Bedford hospital. Dennis was 93 and up to his last few weeks had been an active radio amateur and still building and modifying equipment. Dennis did his National Service with the RAF and later in civilian life was involved with the Gee navigation system. He finished his working career at RAF Henlow with the equivilant (civilian) rank of Squadron Leader. On retiring Dennis was persuaded to take up amateur radio by his former colleague Joe G3EUS and both gentlemen were active for many years on the local Top Band A.M. net. Although coming relatively late to amateur radio Dennis was extremely technically competent and had written several books on TTL circuits, oscilloscopes etc. Dennis leaves a widow, 3 children and several grand children and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Always a joy to talk to Dennis and to be regaled with his stories of being sent to court for "furious riding" of his brother's bike, and his time in the RAF. He will be missed in the Biggleswade area. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/b...ituary.aspx?n=dennis-easterling&pid=199842729
