...and something DXE stocks (they stock almost everything). They're the McMaster-Carr of ham radio stuff. :p
Ironically, "American" is a proper noun and "B1t*h" isn't.

I think it's a SMART rule that helps protect hams from criminal scammers.

There are many Facebook ham radio wanted to buy groups that do not limit the items. Join a few and list your needs, but when you are here, you have to follow the rules of this site. Don't be a complainer because you can't get your way, just use a different site. Then get taken by a scamner.

Facebook. A place where profanity is ignored, personal attacks are rampant, obscenities are celebrated, aberrant behavior is encouraged, and all moderators are unseen, anonymous, and impossible to contact. It's a veritable shopper's paradise.

Facebook is so vast it would be impossible to moderate those things.
There are 2.23 billion monthly active Facebook users.
There are 83 million fake profiles.
There are 300 million photos uploaded every day.
Every 60 seconds on Facebook: 510,000 comments are posted, 293,000 statuses are updated, and 136,000 photos are uploaded.

But then, it has a value of just under 70 billion dollars!
Not sure how accurate they are but valuations for QRZ.com seem to be around 220,000 dollars.

Our local FB page centers around 'news' in a semi-rural township with a beautiful lake in it and nearly 75% of the posts are both intelligent and useful. Take out the 'intelligent' and we gain another 10 percent.

It depends on where you look or how you use it.
My daughter is in London with her boyfriend for the Seahawks game and keeps in touch with my wife via Facebook. Much cheaper than international roaming fees!! Far more convenient.

Nonetheless, Facebook does nothing for me, I don't use it.

I'm sure it has its place - I gave up on Facebook several years ago. Between the endless barrage of ads, I just got tired of the garbage I had to wade through

not a fan but maybe it's just me
