At this time, I have a Yaesu 857D and a Ten Tec Argonaut V. I'm interested in both digital modes (Olivia, JS8Call, etc.), and in SSB. I thought that it might be most efficient to set up the Argonaut (equipped with TCXO) for purely digital and CW work, while going with the Yaesu for any SSB and any VHF/UHF I might want to mess with. It seems to me that the lower power of the Argonaut won't be an issue for this sort of thing. Before buying a sound card and cable, I figured I would put this out there in order to make sure that I wasn't overlooking anything here.

    Thanks and 73,
