There has been talk That tesla Invented Radio, Then later marconi Took credit for It.

 

but ONLY Marconi , not Tesla (great genius ! ) receives the Prize NOBEL, hi hi ! 73

 

Karl Ferdinand Braun shared the 1909 Nobel Prize in Physics with Marconi "for their contributions to the development of wireless telegraphy".

 

Braun is remembered today for... 1) forward bias; 2)the PHASED ARRAY , and today we associate his name with:

 

Both men were obviously smart men. One might say Tesla was the genius, but he was not a businessman. Others made money from the patents he sold and the applications that developed from his inventiveness
and genius. Marconi focused on the inventive application of a composite of scientific ideas from others. He was a businessman and received the rewards and the credit for this application of science called "wireless."
But we must remember transformers, motors, and power distribution when we think of Tesla. These are the practical things. His other ideas bordered the mysterious but sparked a generation of ingenuity.

 

Braun patented (October 4, 1898) the tuned circuit. Oh, come on old men, what is this silly competion about who was smarter or clever of better...? The progress of science and technology is always made with the contribution of several people who dedicated their life in understanding , putting questions, looking for possible answers, trying and trying again, as also Galileo Galilei said.

Did I not say this? I was not competing or implying either was smarter or more clever than the other. I was making general statements about both men that are basically true. They each had their own attributes, personalities, and influences from other great man of their age. They each contributed in their own way to our age. My statements were not arguments, nor were they meant to bring distraction or displeasure to anyone in Amateur Radio. This "old man" wishes everyone the very best.

While many physicists and scientists preceded G. Marconi in the development of concepts and some limited demonstrations of specificelectromagnetic phenomena , Marconi spent his life to make these disorganized principles practical for communication. It was not enough to demonstrate the effect of remote EM sensing merely for scientific papers. Marconi spent his life creating a wireless communication system, which required developing the first technical, business, mass production, trained & equipped maintenance workers, global logistics and standardized methods and protocol. I was amazed to learn how EARLY Marconi Wireless was routinely providing global wireless communication, including being integrated into the wired telegraph and later telephone systems of the developed world of his time. Before Marconi wireless, once out of sight, ships at sea were out of touch until back in sight of a light house or semaphore station. Pre-wireless ship-to-ship communication could be very dangerous, usually requiring closing on the other ship, perhaps in rough seas: a recipe for disaster. With Marconi wireless, entire fleets fleets could maintain mutual aid and contact with shore. Before Marconi, there was no maritime (and little military) radio direction finding. Marconi engineers not only brought DF to practical maritime use, they also provided a shore network for multiple MF/HF DF shots to determine ship locations: a LIFE SAVER for a ship unable to see the sky for a celestial fix. Marconi Wireless provided contract financing for installation, training and maintenance.

One radio communicates with nobody. G. Marconi's practical use of the scattered technical development he combined into the first global wireless network. I think that makes him quite special.

 

yes but at the end.... the finally is that Tesla is know for the AC current and Marconi in all over the world of the Father of the radio , and ONLY marconi received the PRIZE NOBEL , hi hi 73

 

Marconi was a PHONY!
Nikola Tesla was the greatest!!

 

In the end Marconi's patents and credit was taken away and given back to Nikola Tesla.
Tesla invented radio 2-3 years before Marphony stole the credit.
Many pieces of radio equipment Marphony used were actually Nikola Tesla's.
Marphony attempted to patent Tesla inventions by calling them a different name.
Marconi was a failure. The only thing that made him famous was his parents were wealthy and Marphony kissed the butts of influential men.

 

It has been that was since the beginning and shall remain so until the end of time.
