It's not the statistics that have me worried. It's the feeling I had when I came off a ventilator last time. Yeah, you're breathing, but it ain't right or comfortable. Never have completely gotten past that. Just typing this makes my chest tighten and that familiar panic lapping at my heels.
I swore that would never happen again if I can help it.
Eric, I understand and can appreciate that take. I don't wish it on anyone. Anyone.
Nobody should and nobody does. But some people in authority out there try to get others to believe their misguided fantasies regarding the virus, which puts stupid people at risk.
Still others mock the ones trying to be responsible parties by employing ridicule and shaming techniques. Which affects the weak willed and easily swayed members of society.
Neither of which you do Billy and I am thankful for that.

Fear is a mind-killer. I have too much work, love of family and life to live. And I am still YOUNG.
Pop pills, suck on an inhaler, and live life. Hike, lift weights, fish, enjoy shooting sports with family and enjoy my dog. Life!
