The following links are to articles about how amateur radio through WSPR contact data may lead to tracking the path of the lost aircraft MH-370 which went missing in March of 2014. It seems that the data which is still retrievable may show a correlation between propagation anomalies and the possible position of the aircraft during flight, which if proves to be correct, may fill in the large gaps of data from satellite tracking previously used. Only 7 data points were available from the satellite data but there are hundreds available in the WSPRlink database which still need to be analyzed.
