I am confused about terminal ID’s. I registered my callsign a couple of years ago and since then, have 3 d-star radios and 5 OpenSpot devices. I was guided to get a unique Terminal ID for all devices. So, I have 8, A,B,C,D,E,F,H,I.

I could have multiple hotspots hitting reflectors at the same time so, do I need a seperate terminal ID for each hotspot?

Do I need to program the radio’s with seperate ID’s or do they simply get my callsign?

I read about your callsign is actually 7 characters and two spaces. The fact I have A-I registered and no callsign and two spaces, is this going to be an issue?

I have the same thoughts for DMR and YSF. I think DMR you can simply add a digit to your ID. YSF I have not figured out yet.

    Thanks in advance,
