Obituary – Luis Murdocco (ex CX1BBL, CX4DL, CX3DY, SK) It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Luis Murdocco, Silent Key. Luis was a distinguished radio amateur and a remarkable contest operator, achieving the title of world champion in telegraphy at the CQ World Wide DX Contest. He was part of a close circle of colleagues and friends, including Mario Rebufello (CX4CR) and Ricardo Susena (CX2CS, SK), among others. His dedication to amateur radio took him as far as Antarctica, where he successfully activated the station CX0XY. Luis was also a passionate DXer and a mentor to many. He generously shared his knowledge, teaching Morse code to new enthusiasts alongside other radio friends. His contributions to the amateur radio community will be remembered with gratitude and admiration. May he rest in peace. 73 de CX3BZ, Horacio
