    Hi all,

I am a passionate radio amateur and I do like 3d modelling/3D printing.
I designed and 3D printed several customizable parts.
At the moment I am looking into the possibility of printing spare parts, any suggestions are welcome!

There is a need for R Pi cases that also have a TNC-Pi added. Or a modular Pi case that can be expanded easily.

That would be way cool. :)

The DStar portion of amateur radio has a need for 3D printed Raspberry Pi cases that will hold a DVMega board on top of the RPi. Almost all cases are a tiny bit to small to hold the Pi and the DVMega board together. Then when you find one, you have to drill a 1/2" hole in just the right spot in the top (without breaking the case) to allow the antenna to pass through.

The Raspberry Pi community actually needs a lot of 3D printed items for assorted projects. Maybe join a Raspberry Pi group on Facebook or Yahoo and ask what items folks would like to see. I bet you would get a ton of responses...

If you decide to make some DVMega cases, feel free to send me one!

Thanks for your comments! This is helpful!

I also got a reply to design parts for the ft817-ND.
I will update you when new parts have been designed and 3d printed.

Any thoughts about doing custom call sign microphone flags?
