I wonder about the mast clamp so far in the rear. Isn't that a lot of torque? Why not put the clamp in the middle where the antenna balances? Could use non-conductive mast, or maybe conductive is ok with a quad. Or, perhaps a counterweight hanging off the back. Anyways, nice clean construction. Tell us how it performs.

It would make a nice portable antenna Imagining the antenna on a tripod with a counterbalance weight, the tripod would likely collapse Might add a mount at the balance point with some white plastic water pipe
