Yesterday and earlier today I spent some time with my rig and a couple of websdrs. There's a very powerful jammer pounding 7335 around VOA's Radio Marti. At first, the much weaker lines around 7.1 seemed like the 'ghosts' that come from very close or overdriven FT4/FT8, etc. But a number of folks have reported that some of the energy has been moving around. When I fall back to old intel habits, I have to acknowledge that I don't know if the jamming is being controlled, or if it's just a really crappy Soviet-era jammer that couldn't keep itself on freq if it was wrapped in baling wire. All I can say for sure is that it's making a mess.

Tonight 7.130-7.165 are totally unusable even here in central Alabama. This is unacceptable! Prayers for the Cuban people! Also, that Ham communication WILL get out, and in!

Have to think that one (or more) US government agencies know exactly who's doing this and where they are located.

They HAVE also restricted internet. TOTAL CONTROL OF COMMUNICATION is what they want and have pretty much gotten. Get an old CB user out of retirement and let em push their "million watts" back at em. :) ;)

Radio Habana Cuba is known to have shortwave transmitting facilities S and SW of Havana, near Bauta, Bejucal, and Quivican. Their jamming facilities may or may not be co-located, but it wouldn't be surprising if they were.

Exactly, makes me second guess the admins of QRZ and those at the ARRL HQ that put together the newsletter.
