    Hi Community Help Center,

I placed a "countdown timer" from www.timeanddate.com (like W1H has) on my K1T page - it works just fine in a test window on the computer I'm using to design it.

    See the screen capture.

But when I view the K1T page from any other computer, where the countdown is supposed to be is just blank space.

Can you help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks!!

    Dave

    Hello Dave,
I checked your link and did not se any html code created. How did you install the countdown timer?

This link should work for you, configure your countdown timer then copy the html and past at the bottom of your source code page.

Once you copy the html code you will need to add an "S" to http. The path must be "https" or it will not display. Se my test countdown timer on my N6QIC/R page.

It looks to me like that frame is missing.

It may be pointing to the local machine address.

The Facebook link does not help either. I guess you need that to stay in the click. o_O

    Hi Lisa,

I added the "S" to the HTML from the free.timeanddate.com website... here's the code copied directly from the iFrame:

    https://free.timeanddate.com/countdown/i5qk44pe/n391/cf12/cm0/cu4/ct0/cs0/ca0/co1/cr0/ss0/cacc30/cpc000/pc0f9/tcfff/fs175/szw320/szh135/tatTime left for K1T To Begin/tac000/tptTime left until K1T begins/tpc000/iso2017-07-22T00:00:00/bas5/bac090

As you can see, clicking on this link it will open a window and display the count down. But when embedded in the iFrame box it does not. I am surely just doing something wrong.

    Thoughts?

Hi again Lisa - what I'm finding is when I edit inside the IFrame the "s" doesn't stay. Is there a trick to editing HTML inside an IFrame to get it to "stick"? That's the problem I'm sure...

    Thanks!

You need to edit the html code, not the Iframe.

To Edit your HTML code Login, and Select "Edit", Select "Add or edit your biography text, fonts, etc." then source/code from the menu, past the code at the bottom of the page and save.
Find your line of code and add the "s", It will work.

Try it again, create the code and past it at the bottom of the source code page. Once the code is installed save. Then go back in and edit your bio page, you can now just copy and past the widget wherever you want it on your page.

Hi Lisa - Thanks so much for all the help!!!

    So my next question:

Can you tell me how I could have text that says "Click HERE for all the QSL Details" and have the link land way down at the end of the page. I don't want the QSL details to clutter the Howard E. Anthony back-story at the top of my K1T page. I could just say "scroll way down to see QSL details" but folks are in a hurry and just a landing link would be better. I don't know how to do that exactly.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you so much,

    Dave
