Could we get a proper forum name?

    Besides - it if is under moderators supervision it cannot be "OPEN".

    I think it was originally created at a time when RFinder was gaining popularity. I agree that the name is not good, along with the name of the CW area. Both should be changed. I would suggest "Mico-computers and Controllers" for this one and just "CW" for the other.

    maybe if we pointed out that has a proper Microcontroller forum name, get a one-up thing going on...

    perhaps it is terribly difficult to change a forum name?

    That's probably a good guess, I imagine it would be necessary to modify all of the existing
    post history to reflect a new name. A python script running sed commands comes to mind.

    I agree that the forum name is confusing and misleading.

    How about leaving the current forum in place for historical purposes and
    creating a new forum with a more general-purpose name such as:

    Microcontrollers and Single Board Computers?
