Hello QRZ! I am Jaime Collado (HI8JCT), the Amateur Radio Coordinator for this annual event from the Dominican Republic. It is my pleasure to extend a cordial invitation to participate in and experience the Constanza Harvest Festival (Festival de la Cosecha de Constanza). This community event is of great importance because of its impact on the region. It will take place from Thursday, July 16, through Sunday, July 19, adjacent to 14 de Junio Airport in the city of Constanza. We, the amateur radio community, will be on the air throughout the event, promoting it worldwide through various Authorized Stations and the official event station, HI6FCC. For this fifth edition, in addition to the support of national organizations—including the Radio Club Dominicano (RCD), Liga Dominicana de Radioaficionados (LIDORA), Unión Dominicana de Radioaficionados (UDRA), and the HI DX Club—we are also pleased to have the support of the following international organizations: Rincón del Radioaficionado (Argentina) Argentina Network Federación de Radioaficionados de Puerto Rico (FRA-PR) Grupo de Actividades de Radio Digital de España (GARDE) (Asturias and Zaragoza) By bringing together these fellow amateur radio operators, we hope to conduct a worldwide activation and showcase the highlights of both the festival and the Dominican Republic. Our official station, HI6FCC, is registered on QRZ.com. From the event site, we will be operating on the 10-, 15-, 20-, 40-, and 80-meter amateur bands, as well as FT8. In addition, Authorized Activators in Argentina, Puerto Rico, Panama, Spain, and the Dominican Republic will be participating via Peanut, EchoLink, and Zello. The activation will operate as follows: for each contact made with an Authorized Station—whether operating from the event site or from another location—participants will receive one commemorative QSL card and earn one point. Each contact with the Official Station (HI6FCC), operating from the festival grounds, will earn participants one commemorative QSL card and five points. At the conclusion of the event, the five participants with the highest point totals will receive commemorative certificates. Stations awarding points via digital platforms: DIGITAL VOICE - PEANUT – C4FM – ZELLO – DMR – ECHOLINK: Stations awarding points via VHF & HF (2, 10, 15, 20, 40, and 80 meters): We invite all members and friends to participate from Thursday, July 16 at 00:00 UTC until Sunday, July 19 at 23:59 UTC, and to work as many stations as possible.
