My goal is to use the DroidPSK app with my Kenwood TH-D74A using a cable or a Bluetooth connection between the radio and the Android device.

Currently, "Send and receive audio through Bluetooth" is listed in the Droid PSK app as "experimental". I haven't had any luck getting that to work. I think this has to do with the way the TH-D74A handles the Bluetooth connection (Version 3.0, Class 2).

    On to the cable option.

I haven't been able to find a cable that will connect an Android phone to my Kenwood TH-D74A. It may exist (if it does please let me know!), but I have not yet found it.

So, I am trying to make a cable.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
