    Technically the ROWaves kits are not fully approved, but there are approved options for kits and assembled units besides a group buy. From DL2MAN's website:

    I purchased a built unit from the approved Chinese eBay retailer and it works as well as the kit I built as part of a group buy (80+ % efficiency on all bands). Friday using the built unit I made an SSB QSO to a gentleman in Bosnia over 4,800 miles from me.
