The University of Oregon will be hosting the World Athletics Championships from July 15-24 at beautiful, renovated, historic Hayward Field. Ducks on the Air, the University of Oregon amateur radio club, will be running a special event station, using operators around the state of Oregon, to commemorate this event. This is the first time that the World Athletics Championships have ever been held on American soil. Over 200,000 spectators are expected in Eugene, Oregon during the event. We look forward to making thousands of QSOs. Look for the callsign N7DUX on all bands & modes. As a side note, this is also the 100th anniversary of the operation of a ham radio station on the University of Oregon campus.
