The Community of Collinsville, Mississippi is hosting The Annual Collinsville Christmas Festival centered around the Volunteer Fire Department in the middle of town. There will be displays and sales of crafts, baked goods and decorations as well as demonstrations. Lunch will be served free, asking for a donation only. Other attractions are fire trucks & equipment, a medivac helo, and a petting zoo. There will be a Christmas Parade in the afternoon. Free live musical entertainment will be provided all day. The Meridian ARC will have an amateur station on the air starting at 9:00 am. Our Special Event callsign is W5C, Whisky Five Christmas. We will be on HF, tentatively on 7,180 and switching to 14.285 after 10:00 am, plus or minus QRM. There will be a beautiful QSL card available. Please QSL via K5LDA with an SASE.
