Charles passed away Thursday, January 29th. He was 88 years young and is survived by his wife, a son, Carl and a daughter, Gale.
Charles was responsible for my becoming an Amateur radio operator. I was deep into CB and he asked "Why don't you come over to the Amateur radio side and have some enjoyment?" I did and became an operator in 1972. He was a good friend and was there for help for anyone. We were both into Boy Scouts of America and he served in many capacities for many years. Rest in peace, Charles, and 73's.
