En la comuna de Villa Alemana, se celebró de Dia Nacional del Radioaficionado en nuestro país, en virtud de la Ley N° 20.946 de Chile, en razón de la abnegada labor a la comunidad en casos de catástrofes, accidentes y otros desastres naturales, fijando la fecha de 14 agosto de cada año, en honor al acto supremo de caridad y de entrega del Sacerdote Franciscano de nacionalidad Polaca y radioaficionado San Maximiliano Kolbe (SP3RN), que muere durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y en razón de que es el Santo Patrono de los Radioaficionados. En la oportunidad el Presbítero Adam Lugowski, párroco de la Iglesia San Nicolas de Bari, de nacionalidad polaca, narró la memoria de San Maximiliano Kolbe, exaltando el testimonio de amor y de ejemplo para toda la humanidad. Así mismo saludó a los Radioaficionados de Chile, invitándolo a seguir la senda de estudio y ciencias, tal como, lo realizo el mártir católico. La ceremonia organizada por el Radio Club Los Molinos de Villa Alemana – CE2CQ, agradeció la adhesión de los Radios Clubes hermanos de la región de Valparaíso : Radio Club Provincial Valparaíso y Radio Club Amigos de la Costa Víctor Orlandi Veas, como así, de radioaficionados y radioaficionadas amigos de la región y de la presencia de los(as) invitados especiales como lo es el Superintendente del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Villa Alemana, Presidente de la Cruz Roja Chilena Filial Villa Alemana, Representante de la Defensa Civil de Chile Sede Local Villa Alemana y de la Alcaldía de la Ilustre Municipalidad de Villa Alemana, que en la ocasión se hizo entrega de un reconocimiento del Sr. Alcalde Nelson Estay Molina al Radioaficionado Sr. Eduardo Caro Santander, categoría superior, ex presidente del radio club Provincial Valparaíso CE2AA y examinador ad honorem, destacando su obra de significancia relevancia que ha permitido el desarrollo y progreso de los radioaficionados de la república Chile y que ha otorgado un prestigio a nuestra comuna al nivel nacional e internacional. Finalmente, el Presidente del Radio Club Los Molinos de Villa Alemana Sr. Lorenzo Passalacqua Fredes (CA2PJP) y su Directiva, saluda a todos los radioaficionados y radioaficionadas de Chile, en especial las nuevas generaciones que darán más energía a la afición como es el caso de la radioaficionada Emilia Torres CD2WJP que ha obtenido su primera licencia a sus 10 años de edad.
Translation: Celebration of Chilean National Amateur Radio Day in the commune of Villa Alemana In the commune of Villa Alemana, the National Amateur Radio Day was celebrated in our country, by virtue of Law No. 20,946 of Chile, due to the selfless work to the community in cases of catastrophes, accidents and other natural disasters, setting the date of August 14 of each year, in honor of the supreme act of charity and dedication of the Polish Franciscan Priest and radio amateur Saint Maximilian Kolbe (SP3RN), who died during World War II and because he is the Patron Saint of Radio Amateurs.
