You have your type face set to Bold, Large. That is unnecessary and comes across negatively.

Would you rather that i lied and pretended everything was hunky dorey and kumbya? I am certainly not making my point to be negative, I am making it because that is exactly what I think and feel about things and what is wrong with the hobby more generally.

I am not alone in this either. The following are all quotes from a thread over on eevblog.

No he is not, he is one of the better people around here.

    Bill KP4SX,
You have you type face set too small, that comes across weak and pathetic.

Why the bold text? Bold text is usually more effective if just one or two words in a statement are bold compared to the entire statement. Just trying to be helpful.

There's an ignore function here? You mean all this time I've been refusing to read words and posts I don't want to read I could have had a button do it for me?
    I must be daft .

The overall user experience is far more entertaining if you use that feature sparingly. ;)

Sarcasm aside, I have a far better developed and more selective ignore function than this forum could ever provide. ;-)

Do you guys think bipolar ionization is a good strategy to filter C-19 from the air conditioning system in an office building? Huge company inquiring minds want to know and they're asking me... Radio is about communication right? I have my opinion. CosaTron worked on casino smoke 20 years ago. BTW- I'm new to your Ham Radio world. Got my ticket remotely last week. Radio is very complicated stuff both technically and sociologically. Very interesting... still just listening and building the shack. Lots of really smart people from diverse backgrounds from what I've heard so far. Thought I'd throw it out there... 58yo mechanical PE here... Thick skin so have at it if I crossed a line. 73's
