I’ve heard CB’rs on 28.000 plus LSB with just handles...what if anything can be done about this? They don’t seem local to me in Florida.

Let’s keep 10 meters alive in the right way.

Been going on for over 40 years, same solution back then as we have today. Complain to deaf ears at the FCC, Then start operating over top of them. Since they are unlicensed, Malicious interference doesn't apply. . Eventually they will move. use it or loose it...Ymmv

I meant not around Central Florida...my bad.

I am hearing some Ten Meter beacons from time to time from 28.2-3. Very encouraging but I think we are a long way off to the good ol’ Days of 10M DX.

    All the best guys. John

Really, what do you expect anyone to do. Hams are just as equipped to find them as the FCC, probably more. As disappointing as it is, do taxpayers really want to expend money to hunt them down? And what about the rest of the USA? How many employees are needed just for these type things? These aren't minimum wage workers.
If you're upset, get a group together, foxhunt them, and get a pile of proof for the FCC to act. This is what self policing is.

Operating on the frequency is completely legal and that will, usually, make them change frequencies. Then, you have to find where they went and start all over.

However, make sure that they are illegally operating. Remember, operators in other countries can use phone modes between 28.0 MHz and 28.3 MHz.

Find out what their callsigns are and have them move above 28.3.

All the CBers I know are also hams.

    They get bored quickly.
