The cable tv installers left me about 100ft of this cable. It has the foam dielectric and foil under the braid. Can I use this to make a W5GI?

Ok.. maybe this was too broad of a question.. I know it can be done physically. The question I should have asked was will the 75 ohm TV cable throw the SWR's off to the point where I can't trim the twin wire lead line to bring it within tuning range?

I guess I was wondering if anyone had tried it.

It doesn't appear there is any interest..
But just in case someone wants to try it in the future,,
    It works Great !
Using 28ft of tv twin lead from radio shack and connected to 15ft of RG58, it tunes below 1.5 from 10 to 80 meters.
Oh, and I used 12 gauge wire instead of 14.
Had a friend tell me it sounds better than the original one I had built to specs.
