Sellers are recommended to arrive early to secure your selling spot

Sellers can arrive friday evening and stay overnight

With our deepest regrets and heartfelt sympathy
We have been forced to Cancel our Batavia Hamfest for July 18th, 2020

1. We had a green light from the Alexander Fire Company, Genesee County Health
and the Genesee County Disaster Coordinator.
We had submitted all the necessary NY Smart paperwork for social distancing

2. However - ( I received this notice this afternoon - Thursday )
that New York State's response was absolutely NO due to their Covid 19 mandates
I wish we knew much earlier for your sake and ours
A large fine would be given if held.
.
3. The state has already begun revoking liquor licenses from organizations, specifically the Genesee County RaceWay.
They "believed" they too had met all the requirements from the state.as we did for our Hamfest. They were inspected and
with no explanation their event was terminated and the liquor license revoked with a substantial fine.

So from the bottom of our hearts we do apologize.
What makes it even harder is the fact that so much has been taken out of our control.

A sign out front at the hamfest grounds will be posted stating our hamfest is cancelled due to COVID-19 requirements.

Again on behalf of the Lancaster Amateur Radio Club we do apologize
and look forward to holding future Hamfests as we have in the past.
