Might be a little off the org OP post. Playing with WSPR on WSPRnet. Picking up Wash. D.C., two stations in south Fl., on NE Fl., Pa, Oh... (40 meter) I have about 20 stations logged in 52 minutes. Using R-75 and 100 feet of wire over the top of the house. Now I got questions about a QRP transceiver and antenna for that. Really found the transceiver in kit form (started to order it), and maybe a loop antenna. I would leave it running 24/7.
Steve.... that's a GREAT idea. I'll use the #2 size instead of the #1, since I'm running 10w SSB instead of 5w CW.
