Recently The 1960s Pop-Rock Music and TV Shows Net celebrated its 12th year on the air in its mission to maintain regularly scheduled activity on the 220 MHz. band. As a new year begins for the Net, I would like to invite all hams, but particularly those who are former '60s music radio DJs and others from commercial radio or the recording industry who are passionate about '60s music and television programming to participate in one of two Nets held each week. The formal directed Nets are conducted on the following days and times:

TUESDAYS at 6:30 pm M.S.T. on the 147.220 repeater and W7EI-L EchoLink Node
    from Prescott, AZ, and on

WEDNESDAYS at 6:30 pm M.S.T. on the 224.060 repeater and KA7LFX-R EchoLink
    Node from Tucson, Arizona

The majority of each Net is comprised of answering very thought provoking and challenging trivia questions for both '60s rock and roll music and television programming. There are also always two featured segments - This Week in 1960s Television History and Top 10 Hits for the Week of ... featuring various Top 40 radio stations from around the country back in the 1960s.

If you are passionate about '60s music and TV and want to take a long walk with us down Memory Lane each week, please join us for the next 1960s Pop-Rock Music and TV Shows Net.
