    I’m wondering if there is a database of some kind where I could find the call sign of my uncle , who has long passed in the late 90’s.

    He lives in Dallas and was a long time HAM. Club records or possibly the FCC database ?

    Any help would be appreciated

    www.archive.org has many old callbooks scanned and searchable.

    I'll take a look and see what I can find.

    Did he go by his middle name maybe?

    @KE5VJS

    I searched a couple from 67 to 86 at random and didn't find a "HORTON" in Dallas.
    There were a few with middle initial R, but not in Dallas.

    Here's the link to the page, check it out.

    Thank you so much WR2E- I’m sorry for not answering sooner. It’s been a rough past few days

    You’re very kind for looking this info up. It also appears that you’re on the right track for certain.

    Raymond Horton lived in Dallas , North of White Rock Lake on Grandier Dr, was married to Mildred L Horton until he passed away in 1989-1990.

    Prior to that, Raymond Horton lived with Mildred at 6154 Llano in Dallas Texas

    I’m not certain he had a middle name but I’ll find out

    thank you sir

    There's a Raymond N Horton in Odessa, KA5EYV in the Winter 1982 issue.
    Shows him as a Novice class at that time

    You mentioned that he was a long time ham, do you have any idea of the years he was licensed? That could narrow the search somewhat.

    I’ll try to find out. He was certainly active in the 60s, 70s and at least some of the 80s
