Hi support folks, my call sign is changing 4 April (I think 4 April) and I’m wondering how that affects my account here. Someone mentioned that my call will be updated from the FCC feed but I’m assuming my login will not change? Thanks, John
From the Customer Support Center's information: "USA Hams note: QRZ will automatically change your user name and your call sign when we receive the data from the FCC. The FCC releases public data to the world 2 to 3 days after the information first appears on their website. We cannot change your call sign or its address details until the FCC releases the data. Impatient? Relax and remember that you are waiting on a government bureaucracy." Your login callsign will change, but your password will remain the same.
My new call sign W5TWO was active as of about 0000 hours last night, 4 April, 2025. Grant date: 04-04-2025, Effective date 04-04-2025, Expiration date: 04-04-2035. Looks like it will take a day or so for the Zed to update its database. So if you hear the call on 14.300, it's good! John W5TWO (ex-WB5THT)
