    Well for field day we used Victer Echo Six Naked Chicken
    But yes, these calls are not appropriate for use on the bands...maybe 2m though hi hi

    I actually don't have a problem with improvised phonetics. It's not profane and it's not obscene, so it's perfectly legal. I personally find that these improvised phonetics really help me remember other operators calls, and that means it makes transmitting more efficient. Besides, every transmission isn't going to save someones life, so it doesn't really have to be treated that way.

    I would be more likely to remember something that made me grin than just regular phonetics.

    All I can come up with is stuff that can't really be used on air.

    King Edwards fiancé is Xerxes
    Killing every fox is Xerxes/Xenophobic
    Franks is Xanthophobic

    Yeah, the X throws it off. My last call had a Z which really limited things too. Your suf"fix" is "fix", which just fits, though. [​IMG]

    My call isn't so great either.

    I am thinking of changing to a 2x2
