    hi I had my novice ticket in 1976-1977 and got out of i. About to take my technician ticket and my old all Wd4ivi available could one of you please check your old books and see if I’m there? Thank you in advance

    Pretty sure QRZ logbook did not exist in those years....

    My electronic logs only go back to the late 1990s, my QRZ log and LoTW log only back to 2012... and my Novice / General logs are all on paper that would have been from that era.

    Was the format "WD4" issued that far back? not in "7 land" - we were still in WB then but maybe 4-land had moved along faster??

    I called the FCC and they said at best it would be on microfilm in a achive somewhere of course back then as a 17byear old who knew to keep that stuff. Thanks for looking.

    Best bet for now is get your new license and get on the air, and start building up a wholly new log
