Bruce, N6TU, was a well-known contester, DXer, builder, and all-around "ham's ham." He served as an officer with the Northern California Contest Club back in the 70s. Perhaps his most famous quotation was, "Life is Too Short For QRP", immediately followed by "God bless all QRP operators".
