Brant Sheppard N0BFR SK

Brant Joseph Sheppard, 31, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on Monday morning, January 11, 2010 in his home following a sudden illness. Brant was born in Springfield, Mo., and was a lifelong resident of the Willard and Springfield areas. He graduated from Willard High School in 1996 and was employed with Rayfield Communications Company. Brant was a storm spotter and ham radio operator with Sky Warn. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and was a first responder and firefighter with Willard, Ash Grove and Bois D' Arc Fire Depts., and was an EMT. He was a very considerate and compassionate person and was always wanting to help anyone he could.

The Skywarn Community of southwest Missouri lost a good friend and mentor, Brant will be missed.
