After retiring from his career as an accountant, Bob remained engaged in many interests. He was a long-time member of the Glendale Rifle and Pistol Club, St. Louis Trap and Skeet, and The St. Louis and Suburban Radio Club as well as an avid trumpet player and community volunteer.

    Services: Memorial service at Woodlawn Chapel Presbyterian Church, 16520 Clayton Rd., Wildwood, MO, 63011, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Woodlawn Chapel Presbyterian Church. As a service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory friends may sign the family’s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

    July 15, 1936 - December 29, 2022
    Rowlands, Robert Walter. Bob passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the age of 86.
    Beloved husband of the late Dana C. Rowlands (nee Delugach). Devoted father of Rob Rowlands, Steve (Debbie) Rowlands, Scott (Micah) Rowlands, the late Judy Gardner and stepfather of Scott (Julie) Chafin and Beth (Jon) Harden. Loving grandfather of Carlie (Tom), Abby (Ben), Drew, Natalie, Lilly, Bella, Tim, Michelle, Melanie, Riley, Ben and Matthew. Proud great-grandfather of Kaela, Mackenzie and Alexander. Brother of Jean Rimmer. Bob is also survived by Sandy (Tom) Heineman and Sandra (Charles) Lyons. He was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
