Hello Everyone... Has anyone had problem with the drivers for the Btech and Beofeng programing cables and win 10. I went to add freq to my Betech uv-25x4 and when i plug the programing cable in to my computer an error message say driver not installed. Tried several different computers all same error mesg. Unable to install driver code 28 no drivers found. After some research online it looks like the drivers in the chip inside the programing cable are no longer valid and are not recognized. Is there a solution to this problem. I use chrip software and last time I programed radio all was good ok but now no luck using these cables. Any help appreciated.

My guess is that Windows has not blessed your device.

If you jump thru hoops you can normally make it work, A PITA.

One thing that you may want to try, Plug the device into a external USB Hub that supports USB 2.

    Good Luck.

Try going to the windows updates and the view optional updates option. I had the same problem and found this to be the fix for me.
