Used to be, when you look up a call sign, and then go to the details tab, it would show a line from your (my) call sign to that call sign. I have not seen that in a long time. What happened to it?
Although I'm uncertain, like many things that change with the mapping tool the blame likely lies with changes to the Google maps API. The mapping feature is not a QRZ-designed tool, but rather they leverage the available Google maps API to provide features. It is likely that changes took place at Google that broke that functionality.
It was kind of intermittent even a while ago. Who at QRZ does the interface to the Google maps API? Perhaps they can check what specs might have changed, and see if they can give the machine a kick and get it working again.
It's on the list - there's a very major site overhaul underway. That is a part of it. There is no announced timeline. Dave W7UUU
Hmm. It might be nice if they rolled it out one area at a time. Would probably make it easier on supporting all the questions which are sure to come. Thanks again for the info.
