Good job. Sandy! I was a General for about 2-3 years. Made 15,000+ contacts during that period - ON PHONE - 100W all home brewed, and with a ton of backpacking (i.e. Sota)- with 100W.. I easily exceeded Sota's pathetic standards for climbs and terrain.

Sorry I spent years a as a paratraooper. I'm not into drive someplace. I prefer climb take it with you. Exercise.

Now that I'm 60+ I guess I somewhat appreciate SOTA's pathetic standards ( like drive someplace and walk 100'). But what, really what I did, was get of fthe "nets" WAS - didn't need it. DXCC done on phone. These NET dopes have nothing other to do than just want to warn you every five minutes that they " have the frequency ...beginning at...) Really? Who says?

I worked FM PHONE DX when SSB in General was crowded by "I OWN THE FREQUENCY NETS". So on FM, I worked across the globe.

Ham radio is not a religion. And unless you're introducing "break-through" technology - don't post. We've done it before.
