For many things Hot Oil is better than hot air.
Actually this one was a bit smaller than the last. Just the power supply from a Harris 25kW FM weighs more than this whole transmitter.
It made 10kV @ 5A CCS. Some CB'er bought it....nah, just kidding. I'll probably re-stack the HV iron for single phase then pawn it off on one of youse' guys
Having a forklift doesn't hurt.
I'd use it as a Master Maul by converting it to a Screen Grid Modulated system using the Continental circuit.
There's nothing like a no-iron modulation system putting out 1.5kW+ PEP.
Now that's just wrong on SO many levels.
I'm Female, and we know Females need Their IRON..
/she who is suffering from a Mod and Power Iron Deficiency.
Popcorn and transformers!
One of the YouTube channels I watch says "Hot oil will do the work Hot Air cannot."
I guess I'll get my oil changed.
Now where is my drain plug?
I might be interested in the various fixed and variable inductors, Millen turns counters, and the two meters with whatever multiplier and shunt resistors that are part of the circuit.
Also the 4x1 sockets if plastic.
