    It is very sad to report that Bill Brownell WT6O was killed in an auto accident yesterday morning on the way back from LA while traveling with his church choir and band.  He was a Certified Broadcast Television Engineer employed by KTXL Fox40, inc. in Sacramento, CA.  He was also a professional musician prior to his career in broadcasting.  Bill would often say how both careers brought him much enjoyment in life.  He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him...

    Boy that name threw me for a bit. I have a brother by that name, but he is not a ham and no longer lives in California.
    Please pass condolences to my distant cousins.
