    Yup! I'm the W7F team leader and this year there's going to be some RTTY operators for W7F. I'll be self-spotting the RTTY activity so keep an eye on the DX clusters. I don't think that we did any RTTY last year, so this should be interesting. We will, of course, also be active on all the other legacy mode and the dreaded FT8! :rolleyes::D

    There are five total operators for W7F and I believe that all the other letters are also well staffed. So look for us starting at 0000 UTC on the 15th and going until 2359 on the 22nd of October.

    Lets have some fun! Last year's event was a blast from our end and hopefully it was fun for the folks looking for us!

    Ronnie is the "Bonus Station" and he will be running as W4S - the VERY elusive Florida version of Bigfoot called the "Skunk Ape"!!!

    Very cool - alas, I will only be on a very small window - will be just getting back from the cruise I'm on now, home 2 days, then off to Oregon for 2 nights for the Rickreal Hamfest and a fabric/fiber fest Anne is going to. But for the two days I have when I'll be in town, I will be running the letter "O" strictly on CW (other ops will be doing SSB and FT8 but I'll be CW ONLY and only as letter "O").

    But this will be another EPIC event... and finding W4S will not be easy - only the few with super sleuthing skills will find him... but don't worry - he's just a "bonus" station - if you get all the other letters (including TWO "O" letters - each on a different band, different mode or different UTC date) you will still be able to order the coveted "Full Stomp" on your certificate. Ronnie's W4S operation will have its OWN QSL card for those lucky enough to work this elusive "Skunk Ape" of the Florida swamps...

    Last year over 14,500 contacts were made.

    Should be another fun event!

    I'm on the W7O team. My first time ever doing something like this. Was on 20m earlier and dang it's as addictive as POTA activating. Lol.

    Will be on 40m about 930pm eastern tonight.

    HUGE thanks to all the "Letter Captains", who recruited their "Letter Operators", and to Ronnie NZ4X for essentially creating the Swamp Ape bonus, and acting as Letter Captain for his crew of 3 operators.

    And of course HUGE thanks to all the many many hams we all were able to work!

    I didn't that much time on the air, but I still managed 42 CW, 42 SSB, and 89 FT during the short block of time that I was in town and able to be on the air.
