Fellow hams, Beware some scammer is using to offer equipment
at incredible deals to some of our operators. PLEASE BE AWARE and REPORT any
offending offers to the ISP fraud department in question. - Dave Buckshaw.

Take out a 'throw away' email address and put that on your QRZ page. That way, victims have a chance of verifying, without having to hunt you down to ask, if the email is really from you.

Go to your QRZ bio page and edit it with a blurb at that top that you are not selling anything. Another good line of defense. oops! I see that you've already taken that step!

    AWESOME job on the Scamp!

He has already posted the information to his bio page.

Once discovered, adding the information to your bio page is one of the first things that one should do to help stop the problem.

Thanks for the reply! I did do that at the top of my page and it seems like the scammer has subsided.
I appreciate the sentiments on the car. We worked hard to make it drive like a new
car in the left lane at warp 8 or so and not be dangerous to ourselves or others!
It's a car you can drive cross country.
