    lmr 400

    don't even consider anything but lmr400 at a 1$ a foot its more than justified anywhere.;) O and Q tip those pl259's with CLR too it takes the corrosion right off that will KILL YOUR SIGNAL!!! it took me a long time to track down those bugs.:mad: btw im 14

    On 2M, with only 25 feet of coax, you would have to make careful measurements to tell the difference on a wattmeter.

    With the exception of the RS coax, You will NOT be able to tell the difference between the coax(s) when you are on the air.

    It is FAR, FAR more important to seal the coax from water entry.

    Just wrapping the connector with electrical tape IS NOT good enough, I prefer a "brush on" product called Scotchcoat, It's what we used in the Navy.

    A very good, and much easier to find product is the liquid tape in the boating section at WallyWorld. (Wall Mart)
